Peter founded McKernan Motion Picture Aviation in 1985 to fulfill his passion for flying, but what sets him apart is his vision as a filmmaker. Twenty-three years of aviation experience have made Peter one of the most sought after pilots in the motion picture industry.
Peter's talent
has created some of the most spectacular aerial footage seen in feature films,
episodic television and commercials today. A member of the DGA,
SAG and the Motion Picture Pilots Association,
Peter has provided services as a 2nd Unit Director, Aerial Coordinator,Stunt
Coordinator and Technical Advisor for every major studio, as well
as independent production companies and countless commercial production clients.
McKernan Motion Picture Aviation has extensive domestic and international
experience working with the Department of Defense and all branches of the
armed services, including a worldwide network of aviation contacts.
